Torito is now mobile, it was such a big deal when she was able to roll over, now she can go both ways and today she rolled across the room. Tummy to back, back to tummy, over and over again. When they are first born,  you hold your child in your arms and you can’t imagine them every growing up or even growing a little. Then pretty soon, our little one was lying on the floor, and looking around. Soon after, she would get in the habit of lifting her legs in the air while lying down, and rocking back and forth. Then one day, she did it, she rolled over. It was such a big milestone when I saw her roll over for the first time. Now she can roll across the room. Once she figured out how to go from tummy to back, that was all it took, she started moving and now we have to baby proof. It’s really exciting.

Happy New Year faithful readers of babyboba! It has been an exciting year, you saw the evolution of my big belly to our little Torito. At the 5 month mark, she continues to be in the 90th percentile in height, weight, and head. Her little head holding her big brain is quite large and when compared to our friends has been seen even larger than a 1.5 year old. Her first Christmas passed uneventully. I feel like the holidays just passed me by. Before I was even ready for it, it was over. Presents were delivered 5 days after Christmas, many weren’t even wrapped. Even our holiday card, we didn’t order until the 23rd. I don’t know if we were distracted by everything else going on, preparing for a new job, buying a computer, finding a nanny, going home for the holidays, or what. But next year, it will be better. Tori, we will let you unwrap presents and really enjoy my favorite holiday. I guess that’s new years resolution #1.
